2010 FIFA World Cup runner-up team member Maarten Stekelenburg is a Dutch professional football goalkeeper who currently plays for the Premier League club Everton and the Netherlands National Team.

In 2002, Maarten Stekelenburg joined the U-21 Netherlands national football team. He was a member of the U-21 Dutch squad at the “2011 FIFA World Youth Championship”.
In the year 2004, he was first called up for the Netherlands national team. On 3rd of September, Stekelenburg made his international debut against Liechtenstein in a 3-0 victory.
